My first paintball game outing. Located at Tanamera, Sg. Buloh and it was my first ever extreme game. :)
was very happy and it was one hell of an experience for me. This is also a new beginning, new chapter for me as i indulge myself into this to satisfy my craving for tactical team role play.

Countdown To One of My Big Day In My Life

People,
Introducing, one of the big day in my life the most anticipated day after 2 and 1/2 years in KDU,

KDU CONVOCATION 2008
23rd August 2008(Saturday)

I'M EXPECTING EVERYONE WHO ATTEND GIVE ME A PRESENT...NO EXCEPTIONS.....

This is the countdown to one of the biggest BIG day in my life.My Convocation for Diploma In Mass Communications @ KDU PJ Campus.I have waited for nearly ONE YEAR for this as I finish my Internship with OMD Malaysia , Media Agency owned by Omnicom Group In October and KDU only held its convocation once a year in August. GDMIT!!
Oh wait. It is co-incidence that I have waited ONe Year and now its ONE MORE DAY to go... Hooray..!!..

After 2 and 1/2 years of hard time and hardship and LESS entertainment in KDU,
(she is a 2 and 1/2 years old dog and for hell sure its not my dog,
found it in google image when I search for 2 and 1/2 number.
She is Cute so I decided to use her to represent the 2 and 1/2 yrs)

And after the 2 and 1/2 yrs in KDU, I still have to wait for:
ONE MORE FREAKING YEARS... GDMIT!!

After all the agonizing time spend for waiting and waiting and waiting,
Finally.....*drum rolls*Final Countdown Song*drum rolls harder*

ONE MORE DAY TO GO FOR THE CONVOCATION....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After spend my whole 7hrs at Poppy yesterday for Chris Fortier Live at Poppy Garden! and reach home at 0430am with gastric, I decided to have a good sleep till at least evening. But Alicia and Eugene has decided to wake me up at 1200pm for our weekly dosage of coffee. OK CUT THE CRAP.

Chris Fortier is an American DJ and founder of the Balance Record Pool as well as co-founder and owner of Fade Records. Fortier's DJ-ing covers a range of styles from dark progressive to minimalist techno. He is well known for being a central figure in the development of electronic dance music in the United States as both a DJ and founder of the Balance Record Pool.

Door Open at 10pm.

I was there at 9pm and went walk around and round. Kumar was freaking stressed out especially when he lost his camera lense for his Iphone that he just bought and collected from his friend who bought it at UK and it is not available in Malaysia market yet. So he was literally screaming and ranting about that.
Next stop is walking around again and see how everything work when on the floor. Poppy's Gals are still sorting out the registration and also reservation list due to too many reservation last minute. Door open and I have decided to just Lepak around as I'm the only from Marketing & Event Team is around. Decided to be at the Front house(Entrance) and watch how security and the Pernod Richard, Kent promoters promote the drink and cigarettes.

10pm: Crowd is coming in in small group. Crowd is not building up.
11pm: Call from fren "Pls reserve table".. work done...table reserved. Crowd is building up and space is starting to be cramped.
12am: My fren's table has to be released. Club policy has to be adhere..
12am: Chris Fortier start to spin His House Music and sending quite lots of ppl into the 'feng-tau-Trance-Rave bosy movement'.
1230am: Crowd still coming in although it is damn full....=="
0100am: Walking around like Security at work A Big Boss / Manager @ Work...
0200am: Saw a few drunk human who cant walk, decided to help them sit down and get them water. ( i do wonder, y do ppl drink till they cant walk,isn't dat crap?!)
0300am: Chris Fortier still want to spin and he keep on spinning. (does He tired or he juz popped few drinks in)
0330am: Chris Fortier stop finally. help out with Security to do some minor closing up and then...
0400am: off i go home for the sleep......^^

Reviews:
Crowds steadily growing and it seems like Malaysian like to party late as the crowd suddenly increase when the time reach 12ooam. And typically, they would also abrgain not to pay for cover charge and then they would also try to get their friend to bring them in as well.. Gotta work somethin on this.. Hmmm..
Overall, Chris is a good DJ, I can feel the beat is different and nice but Malaysian prefer R&B more, judging by the crowd at Passion.

It has been a brand new weekend for me this week. First, I have to work on alternate Saturday from 9am - 3pm. Kinda new for me as I'm not used to work on weekend. So currently I'm still adapting to it. My routine on Saturday:
9am: clock In and start up my desktop
10am: Sitting on my Chair and looking through my schedule of event.
11am: Thinking on my next proposal for September and October. Planning to do a few launches.
12pm: Thinking of lunch and Chris Fortier's event @ Poppy Garden @ 09th Aug 2008.
1pm: Lunch
2pm: Still in the Mood of Chris Fortier.
3pm: Home Sweet Home. Went home for a rest and prepare to go out to for SATURDAY NIGHT OUT WORK for tonight's event, Poppy Collection Present THE POWER OF ONE, Chris Fortier.

Wilson's Working Life Day 4 and 5 - post edited-

Sorry i missed out the 4th Day work posting cz I decided spend my time reading The Bourne Betrayal to sleep early yesterday which did not turn out as what i plan...=p

Nevertheless, on working side, Ms Judy has approved our proposal but we need to do some tweaking and additional stuff need to be improved. So far it is great and we are working on it accordingly. Hope everything turns as what we have plan cz this will reflect the whole Marketing Team. Oh ya. Did i mention that this marketing team is starting from scratch? Yeah... Three of us(me, Jeff and Cedric) will be spearheading the whole Marketing Team for these four clubs.
Pray Luck everything work as what we have plan.

Friday, 5th Day:
Woke up at 10am and then go to KDU PJ... Got two hours leave from office but sure kena deduct salary wan...LOL.
went to settle my convocation registration. Oh ya, My Convocation is scheduled on 23rd August 2008. Do come over ya as this might me my only Convocation for my life..haha...
My parent might come down for it. Let's pray hard for me...*grins* ^^

Anyway, back to office and then head on to meetings with JUICE Marketing Manager for their event. They are going to launch the 'Clive" magazine for Men. More details up soon. :D
After that, it would be the site recce with client and then back to office to settle some job and job brief from new client comes in. Seems like i got few Jobs on hand now... =)
more jobs is better though...hehe...
Going back home soon as traffic jam has already start to build up now..
Tomorrow gotta come in office early at 9am. Did i mention i have to work half day till 3pm every 2nd,4th and 5th Saturday? Oh Yeah.. another challenge in my job.
